An appeal for lorries and a gofundme page has been set up by a Herefordshire group to get much needed aid to the Ukraine.

Andrew Lloyd, Gary Baxter, Susan Herdman and Arni Highfield are organising and co-ordinating transport to provide a vital link in the chain.

But they are in desperate need of lorries and funds to support the transport of much needed supplies which are ready to be sent to those affected by the war.

One truck has already been offered after an initial appeal, but more are needed to take the supplies which are ready and waiting in a warehouse.

Andrew, Gary and Arnie aim to take the aid over themselves from their base at Penrhos Court near Kington in 7.5T lorries.
When up and running they will be needing more drivers to support them.

Andrew Lloyd said ‘ We are trying to plug a gap in logistics
Whilst the collection of aid is fantastic it needs to get where it’s desperately needed’

‘We are trying to get the items donated to Ukraine out of the ware houses.

Lorries, Fuel, Legislation and logistics is all very daunting so that’s why we have decided to get involved.’

If anybody can supply a lorry please contact Andrew on 07980988732.
