Tesco is bringing back its Kids Eat Free scheme to its 328 Cafés and Coffee Shops across the UK over the summer holidays (excluding weekends).

The supermarket’s Cafés will be offering one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal with each item bought by an adult from as little as 65p when they scan their Tesco Clubcard.

Popular menu items include breakfast options such as egg and soldiers, beans and soldiers and pancakes. Hot main meals include choices such as Omega 3 Fish Fingers, Baked Chicken Strips and pork sausages. The Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix includes a sandwich, a drink, two snacks and a piece of fresh fruit, so there’s something healthy and satisfying to feed hungry children from breakfast until dinner.

Claire De Silva, Head of Communities at Tesco, said: “We know that household budgets can be really stretched over the school summer holidays, so offering free meals to children during this time is just one of the ways we can support families.”

In 2024, Tesco provided 404,499 free meals to children and families during school holidays. Kids Eat Free is just one of the many ways that Tesco is helping families spend less.

To help with the cost of half-term, customers can also exchange their Clubcard vouchers with Tesco Reward Partners, including family favourites such as PizzaExpress and Cineword.
