Students at Lucton School in Herefordshire were thrilled yesterday with some fantastic A-level results.
From Lucton School:
A huge congratulations to our Year 13 students who, once again, have achieved fantastic results in their A Levels! With a 100% pass rate, almost 40% of Lucton students received A*-A grades.
Head of Sixth Form, Michael Wolstenholme, commented: “After two tumultuous years of hard work, it was wonderful to see so many Sixth Formers collect their A level results today. Whether talking amongst each other, to their teachers or with their parents, it was clear that the Lucton experience had produced well-rounded, polite and highly capable young men and women, ready to set out into the great unknown.
Amongst the many excellent results, notable mentions include John (A*,A*,A*,B) and Will (A*,A,A) who plans on studying Biology at Warwick University. Keira, Angus and Forbes (pictured) all achieved A* grades in the arts and plan to complete an art foundation at Hereford College of Arts before planning their next move, whilst Harry (also pictured) will study engineering at NMITE.
Congratulations again to all of our Year 13 students on a wonderful set of exam results; we wish them the very best in the future and will miss them greatly!”
