Speeding motorists remain a concern for residents living in a Herefordshire village, with officers from West Mercia Police carrying out speed checks to help reassure them that action is being taken.

Residents in Marden have been concerned for some time about motorists speeding through the village.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“We are aware that speeding continues to be a concern for the residents of Marden and those eagle eyed residents would have seen us carrying out speed enforcement in the village yesterday afternoon.

“We are committed to continuing to tackle this issue and make the area safer for you, working with our Operational Patrol Unit and the Road Safety Team who operate the camera vans.”
