West Mercia Police officers in Ross-on-Wye are asking members of the public to remain vigilant after reports of a number of attempted thefts from cars in the market town over recent days.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“A number of vehicles in the St Mary’s Village area of Ross last night had their car doors tried to gain access. This has been caught on CCTV. Unfortunately a few cars had access gained and valuables stolen.

“Please be vigilant, lock those car doors and either remove or hide valuables away.”
