The Met Office has this morning extended it’s weather warning for snow and ice on Wednesday further north, to include Hereford city.
The original warning for Wednesday covered southern parts of the county, such as Ross-on-Wye, but latest modelling shows spells of snow pushing slightly further north.
The update from the Met Office says:
“Spells of snow on Wednesday may cause travel disruption during Wednesday into Thursday morning
“Warning extended further north across a larger part of southern England and East Anglia, with the likelihood of impacts increased, and ice included as part of the warning.
“Warning has also been extended into Thursday, primarily to include residual ice impacts that may persist into the morning travel period.”
