A significant number of road closures are in place in Worcester this morning, with levels on the River Severn continuing to rise throughout the day.
An update from Worcestershire County Council Highways team said:
“Worcester river bridge & the bottom of Hylton Road will be CLOSED at 11am eastbound (towards city) – use Carrington bridge
“Bull Ring roundabout in St Johns will open to allow traffic to turn right
“Tybridge Street will remain open for retail park access as long as possible.”
