A shop in Hereford city centre is ‘on the verge of having to close down’ due to a lack of footfall.
Ace K9 Doggy Deli in Maylord Orchards has proven popular with many customers, but a lack of footfall is making it a challenge to survive.
In an emotional post, the son of owners Mark and Jo said:
“My parents Mark and Jo Lathwell are the shop owners of Ace K9 Doggy Deli located with Maylords Orchard in Hereford and they desperately need help.
“Ace K9 Doggy Deli is on the verge of having to shut down due to lack of footfall and ever rising costs of running a shop.
“This is where you can help! We strongly believe that moving Ace K9 Doggy Deli to a new unit within the centre of Hereford’s High Town will change Ace K9 for the better.
“Not only will it increase footfall it will also be beneficial for all your doggy needs with more stock and more space for dogs to relax while owners grab a delicious coffee.
“My parents throughout my life have been through their many ups and downs and everyone deserves a chance of success.
“My parents live and breathe dogs and it’s their biggest passion and you can see that every day when you see them working in the shop.
“They want nothing but the best quality products for your dogs and they do everything in their power to be able to do that.
“Let’s not let another shop have to close and become an empty unit because of rising costs. Together we can make Ace K9 Doggy Deli bigger and better!
