The A49 (Ross Road) in Hereford is back open again this morning, following a closure on Saturday evening due to a serious collision.
The collision involved a motorcyclist and a car, and the road was closed for several hours.
The closure was in place between Asda and The Broadleys, meaning that anyone needing to use the A49 had to be diverted down Belmont Road / or Holme Lacy Road.
Your Herefordshire understands that one person was taken to hospital following the collision.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance were all in attendance, with the road reopening shortly after 10pm on Saturday, around five hours after the collision occurred.
The incident caused tailbacks across the city, with Greyfriars Bridge, Belmont Road and Walnut Tree Avenue worst affected.
