Students travelling to college in Hereford will continue to have access to the same rail services from Monday, despite the Welsh Government imposing a 17 day ‘firebreak’ lockdown from 6pm this Friday.
Transport for Wales has confirmed that both train and bus services will be running throughout the period of the ‘firebreak’ lockdown.
Hundreds of students travel from South Wales to colleges in Hereford every day and it has been reported recently that some of these services are overcrowded and delayed. Transport for Wales said the other week that it was committed to increasing the number of services and also the number of carriages used.
