Pupils are self-isolating after a COVID-19 case was confirmed at a Primary School in Hereford.
Parents at Riverside Primary School in Hereford received a message saying that children that have been in close contact must self-isolate for 14 days to prevent the risk of further infection.
A letter sent to parents said:
We have been made aware of a member of our school community who has tested positive for COVID-19.
In line with Public Health England advice, as a precaution, we have taken the decision to close the class bubble, as they may have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.
