A man who died after being pulled from the water at Worcester Countryside Centre has been named as 71 year old Derek Pitman from Blackpole in Worcester.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

We were called to Worcester Woods Country Park at around 8am this morning (Wednesday 8 June) following concerns for the safety of a man in the water.
Officers attended the scene with colleagues from the ambulance service, and the man was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead.
Parts of the wooded area at the park may be closed for some time today (Wednesday 8 June) as police remain at the scene to carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.
