West Mercia Police officers have made an arrest after a vehicle collided with a pedestrian in Herefordshire.

The incident occurred in Credenhill on Saturday evening.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Yesterday evening in Credenhill, Police and Ambulance responded to a report of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian.

“Following the incident, one individual has been arrested on suspicion of Drink/Drug driving. 

“This is a reminder of the dangers of driving under

the influence and the potential consequences it can have.

“We urge everyone to always prioritise safety on the roads, whether you’re a pedestrian or a driver.”
