West Mercia Police have issued an alert, after two people in hoodies were seen acting suspiciously in one area of Herefordshire.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“At 4.20am on Friday morning two people in hoodies walked up the drive of a farm near Mathon triggering the alarm system.

“Enquiries are ongoing as a vehicle was seen in the area the previous day acting suspiciously.

“It is likely they were targeting a vehicle parked near to the farmhouse.

“Ledbury SNT officers have visited the farm to review CCTV and give further crime prevention advice.

“This may be a good time to review your security and think about installing an alarm system, which on this occasion prevented a further theft at the farm.”
