West Mercia Police officers are appealing for information after an alleged assault near Hereford Cathedral.
One male has been arrested in relation to the incident and since bailed.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“Following an alleged assault that took place on 28th May 2022 on Hereford Cathedral Green that was widely circulated on social media a male was identified and arrested on 29th May. He has since been bailed.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who had witnessed or has footage of the incident to come forward to assist us with our enquiries.”
