West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Worcestershire on Thursday (26 August) evening.
Officers were called at 5.56pm to the A46 Cheltenham Road, Hinton-on-the-Green, following reports of a collision between a road sweeper lorry and a black BMW.
The A46 was closed while emergency services, including the air ambulance attended the incident however, a 71-year-old man driving one of the vehicles sadly died. His next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed for several hours while our investigation took place and was reopened at 1.30am (Friday 27 August).
