West Mercia Police officers in Leominster are appealing for information after a burglary at Leominster Community Centre.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We are appealing to identify the two young males in the CCTV footage attached, after they burgled Leominster Community Centre on the 29th December 2021 at 2000hrs, which 00276 I 30122021 refers.
“The offenders forced entry to the centre through a window and internal CCTV shows them forcing entry to other rooms within, although in this instance they left empty handed.
“The one male is wearing quite a distinctive blue and black checked jacket, but both had hats/hoods and masks.
“Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact us at leominster.snt@westmercia.police.uk
“If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org
“This is a community centre for local residents and is used for lots of different community events. This type of incident costs the centre much needed money to get windows/doors fixed, whereas funds could be much better put to use.”
