West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a suspicious incident near Leominster.

The incident occurred in the village of Kimbolton and officers are requesting the help of the public in finding those responsible. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“Leominster patrol officers are appealing for anybody who saw any males acting suspiciously or  anyone who has dash cam footage whilst in the area of Kimbolton yesterday (6th Dec) between the hours of 1640 -1730 to come forward. 

“We are specifically looking for a silver/grey SUV type vehicle that was parked at the top end of Kimbolton village. The occupants of this vehicle have attempted to steal an Audi which was parked up on a private driveway. 

“The property owner has disturbed the offenders and they have made off towards the Leominster direction. We believe the same males are also responsible for a shed theft that happened in a nearby property. 

“We have carried our nearby CCTV enquiries but if there are private households anywhere in the village that may have captured these males or the silver vehicle, please get in touch at leominster.snt@westmercia.police.uk quoting reference number: 00434_I_06122022 The investigating officer is Pc Austin 2100”
