West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after items were stolen from a car in a village near Hereford over the weekend.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
We are appealing for information after spotlights were stolen from a car in the Breinton area.
The theft occurred between 5pm on Saturday 15th January and 9am on Sunday 16th January when the lights was stolen from the vehicle whilst it was parked on Green Lane, Breinton.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.
There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property – where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended, consider security marking / etching accessories and park your vehicle under CCTV or security lighting.
We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
