West Mercia Police officers in Herefordshire are appealing for information after a significant quantity of fuel was stolen from a construction site in Herefordshire.
The incident happened in the Kingstone area of the county and police are appealing to members of the public to help them with any information they may have.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“Police are investigating the theft of a Land Rover from a farm near Old Clehonger in Herefordshire that occurred at 11.25pm on Saturday 29 April.
“The vehicle was used 30 minutes later to steal a white bowser containing approximately 1000 litres of diesel from a construction site at Kingstone before being set alight and completely destroyed elsewhere in Kingstone several hours later.
“The bowser was taken to an unknown location in the intervening period.
