One person has been treated for burn injuries following a fire at a property in Herefordshire this evening.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford and Ewyas Harold were called to the incident at Newton St Margarets at around 4.55pm this evening.
A spokesperson for Hereford Fire Station said:
“Crew mobilised to a property fire at a farm near Newton St Margarets. Supporting our colleagues from Ewyas Harold.
“On arrival 2 x BA wearers were deployed with a hose reel jet and PPV fan to fully extinguish the fire.
“Crews also administered trauma care to one casualty suffering from burn injuries.
“After the fire was extinguished we used our thermal imaging cameras and small tools to cut away to check for further fire spread.”
