West Midlands Ambulance Service have confirmed that one person has been seriously injured following a collision in Herefordshire.
The incident occurred on the A44 (Bromyard to Worcester Road) at Bringsty Common on Monday.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service all attended the incident.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after a collision with a lorry in Herefordshire.
“The crash happened at about 12.15pm on the A44 at Bringsty Common. Two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a BASICS Emergency Doctor and a Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car were sent to the scene.
“The rider, a middle aged man, was given advanced trauma care at the scene before being taken to the Major Trauma Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham; the doctor travelled with the crew to hospital. The lorry driver was unhurt.”
