The number of positive cases of Coronavirus in Herefordshire since the outbreak began has risen to 745. That represents an increase of two in the past 48 hours.

One thing you may have noticed is that at the end of last week, the figures for Herefordshire jumped by nearly 300 cases. This is due to Public Health England now including Pillar 2 tests as part of its overall total. The additional confirmed cases occurred over the past three months.

Pillar 2 data includes swab testing by commercial providers.

Overall the picture across the county is improving with case rates falling steadily. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths at hospitals remains at 56 and the figure in all settings was 119 as of 19th June.
