The number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Herefordshire has passed 900 since the outbreak started earlier this year.
The number of cases recorded by 9am on Monday 17th August had risen by three to 901, up three from the 898 cases that had been recorded by 9am on Sunday 16th August.
The increase takes the total number of cases per 100,000 population up to 469, far below that of the areas that have seen local lockdowns enforced, such as Leicester (1531.2), Blackburn and Darwen (1132.7) and Preston (956.2).
There have been no further COVID-19 related deaths recorded at hospitals in Herefordshire, with the most recent COVID-19 related death being recorded on 15th July. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths at hospitals in Herefordshire remains at 57 since the outbreak started earlier this year.
In the United Kingdom, the total number of Coronavirus cases that have been recorded since the start of the outbreak stands at 319,197. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths stands at 41,369.
