Public Health England has confirmed that no new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Herefordshire, despite the United Kingdom seeing its highest increase in daily cases since June, with 1,062 new cases recorded yesterday.

The total number of cases recorded in Herefordshire, since the start of the outbreak remains at 892. That’s a rate of 464.3 cases per 100,000 population. That is slightly below the 471 cases per 100,000 population across the West Midlands. The North West of England is currently the worst affected area in the England, with 660 cases per 100,000 population on average. The South West remains the least affected area with an average of 243.1 cases per 100,000 population.
