The Ministry of Defence has reportedly said that it is ‘aware of an ongoing investigation’ after reports surfaced in the Daily Mail of a raid at a premises in Herefordshire.

The reports surround the reported arrest of two SAS soldiers, alongside a member of the public. 

West Mercia Police have directed any enquiries to the Ministry of Defence.

The Daily Mail said that the raid took place in the Herefordshire countryside and that quantities of suspicious substances were found.

The raid is understood to have taken place at an isolated farm.

The raid of the premises is said to have taken place following lengthy surveillance.

The SAS are based at Stirling Lines Garrison in the village of Credenhill.
