THREE Christmas Tractor Runs will be taking place in Herefordshire over the coming days.

The first, organised by When Farmers Do Christmas, will take place in the Ledbury area on Wednesday (13th December).

Ledbury Christmas Tractor Run:

“We will leave Eastnor woodshed at 4.30pm and head to Ledbury. We will turn right at the top cross and arrive a the market house for around 4.45pm.

“We will wait briefly, and then continue up the High Street where we will turn left and then do a lap of Tesco where we will again stop briefly around 5.10pm.

“We will leave the carpark and turn right down Orchard Lane and then right in to Queens Way. We will then turn right down Bridge Street before turning right into the trading estate and on to Aldi. 

“We will do a lap of the car park again and stop briefly around 5.30pm.

“We will the exit the car park and head to the roundabout where we will then head down New Mills Way before turning in to Prince Rupert Road where we will stop by the green at around 5.45pm. We will head up to the top of the road and turn left and then left again in to Frost Road where we will lap again at around 5.55pm.

“The tractor run will then head left down New Mills and to the roundabout and down Leadon away. We will continue down the bypass and then head down Little Marcle road. 

“We will turn right for Leadon Way at the Full Pitcher roundabout and then right at the next one in to Kipling Road. This will be at around 6.30pm.

“The tractor run will do a loop and exit on Keats Meadow and straight over at the roundabout and on to Martins Way. We will stop briefly on the little island at Biddulph Way. We will then head up Biddulph Way and up to the Ledbury Road and turn left towards the Top Cross. We will go straight over the Top Cross and turn down Bye Street and then turn right for Long Acres,  where we’ll loop around by Tesco and travel back down the High Street and stop again at the Market House at around 7.05pm before continuing back to The Woodshed for 7.30pm for plenty of food!”

Starting from: Baddy Marsh in Lower Eggleton. Leaving at 4pm.

Passing through: Bishop’s Frome, Fromes Hill, Bosbury, Ledbury, Ashperton and Stretton Grandison.

“The sleigh is nearing completion and we now have a route organised! 

“We will meet at Bartestree village hall, £15 entry will be collected here upon your arrival. 

“Leaving Bartestree Village Hall at 4pm.

“We will head for Withington first, then Lugwardine. We will then head up to Tupsley,  where we will turn left at the pub and go past the school. 

“We will follow the road down through and come back out on the Ledbury Road and head towards the Tesco filling station and up towards the College. 

“We will then head down Aylestone Hill and into town. We will travel through town then to the Asda roundabout where we will go back into town and turn left after the bridge and up past the Crematorium. 

“We will turn right at the roundabout and drop down to Whitecross and head out to B&Q. 

“We will then turn left at the roundabout on Roman Road and head towards the Cattle Market, and then divert left toward the co-op then back up to the main road. 

“We will finish at the Cattle Market at around 7pm where all are welcome, the cafe will kindly be open for food and drinks for all so please support this if you can. 

“The run in total will be around 16 miles, if you don’t hear us you will definitely see us at these locations.”
