McDonald’s has submitted new plans for signage at a potential new restaurant in Herefordshire.
Plans for a new Drive Thru restaurant in Ross-on-Wye were withdrawn earlier this year, but the company did say it intended on submitting new plans in the future.
This week, plans were submitted to Herefordshire Council for signage at the proposed restaurant that would be located just off the A40 on the outskirts of the market town. Local residents were left angry when the plans originally submitted showed that access to the restaurant would be via a new housing estate that had recently been built.
Residents put together a petition due to concerns over increased traffic, litter and possible anti social behaviour such as anti social driving in the area.
The planning application details plans for signage at the proposed Drive Thru, if planning was approved subject to any future application.
The signage application was submitted by Planware Ltd.
In total, two applications have been submitted. They include the following:
- Installation of 6 no. fascia signs, 3 no. booth lettering signs and 1 no. digital booth screen.
- Various site signage including 4 no. freestanding signs, 2 no. banner units, 1 no. play land sign and 22 no. dot signs.
