Both McDonald’s restaurants in Hereford have reopened after being forced to close yesterday due to a food shortage.
Both the Belmont Road Drive Thru and Commercial Street restaurant had to close their doors early yesterday evening due to a food shortage caused by distribution problems, following a protest by animal rights protestors outside McDonald’s distribution centres across the country.
Several McDonald’s restaurants across the Midlands and South West reported stock issues but very few were forced to close like the two in Hereford. However following a delivery early this morning, both restaurants have since reopened and service has returned to normal.
