A man was takes to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision on the A49 in Hereford on Tuesday evening.

The collision occurred on the A49, between the Broadleys pub and Asda.

The road was closed for several hours for accident investigation work to take place.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called to a collision at around 7pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 23 July) on the A49, Ross Road in Hereford following a collision between a motorcycle and a car. 

“A man in his 30’s was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. 

“Enquires are now on-going.”
