A man has suffered what are being described as ‘potentially serious injuries’ in an assault in Ledbury overnight.
New Street remains cordoned off by police this morning, with a number of businesses forced to remain closed whilst police carry out investigatory work.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 10:29pm to reports of an assault in New Street, Ledbury. We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and a Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) doctor. Crews treated one patient, a man, for potentially serious injuries and he was conveyed to hospital on blue lights and sirens for further treatment.”
