Lee Ellis, 54, of Ballhurst in Bromyard has been charged with wounding with intent, assault by beating, criminal damage and possession of a bladed article.
The charge follows a stabbing at property in Dry Thistle Close, Bromyard at 11.15pm on Saturday 15 Oct 2022 during which a woman in her 20s was found with a serious injury to her torso.
He has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today.

A man has been arrested following an incident in Herefordshire last night (Saturday 15 October).
Officers were called to a property in Thistle Close, Bromyard at around 11.15pm following reports of a stabbing.
When officers arrived at the scene a woman aged in her 20s was found with a serious injury to her torso. She was later taken to hospital for further treatment.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Detective Sergeant James Moore, said: “I’d like to thank the public for their co-operation and patience whilst we dealt with the incident. I would also like to reassure them that this was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the public.”
