Kington Cricket Club were targeted thieves on Saturday evening, with a number of valuable items taken.
A post from Kington Cricket Club on Facebook said:
“Kington Cricket Club would like to thank the **** that broke into our clubhouse last night and stole all our valuable items including the irreplaceable Rothmans champagne bottle which was presented to us on winning the National Village championship at Lords in 1993.
“We’re trying our hardest to provide facilities and coaching for youth of the town and surrounding areas and the job is hard enough without continual set backs like this.
“If anybody hears of any information especially about the bottle of champagne please let us and the police know.”
