A Leominster resident who saw her family home destroyed by fire has taken to social media to thank the local community for its incredible support.
Samantha Jayne Taylor commented on the Leominster Watch Facebook page and said:
“On Friday night we suffered a devistating fire at my home. We lost everything I worked so hard for. Walked out with my boys and the clothes on my back. My little girl was with her auntie in Ludlow thank god.
“I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone in Leominster. To everyone that donated clothes and shoes and toys for my kids. To everyone that has donated to the just giving page.
“To the lovely couple up the road who took me and my boy in, who gave me a phone and shoes, to help my boy overcome everything and have a place to calm down.
“You are an amazing family. We didn’t know you before but would love to know who you are so I can say a personal thank you to you both.
“I am so overwhelmed with how everyone has come together for me and my kids. Each and every one of you has made me believe that despite this awful and most traumatic time, that I can and will get back on track and make a new home for me and my kids.
“So, on behalf of me and my children, thank you Leominster.”
