The Leominster Area Polish Society will hold their annual Remembrance Service this Sunday (7th November), to remember the 12 Polish soldiers who are in Leominster Cemetery.
The Leominster Area Polish Society was set up a few years ago, with the aim of looking after the graves of the 12 soldiers who are buried at the cemetery, to organise an annual remembrance service, to promote research into the lives of the soldiers, to promote history of local Polish heritage which dates back to the 1840s and to promote good community relations.
The service will take place at 12.30pm on Sunday 7th November at Leominster Cemetery, a week before Hereford hosts it’s Remembrance Sunday parade in St Peter’s Square.
