The COVID-19 infection rate across Leominster is continuing to rise, with South Leominster a particular area of concern.
South Leominster continues to have the highest COVID-19 infection rate in Herefordshire, with a rate of 285.9 cases per 100,000 population, that is UP on the 254.1 cases per 100,000 population recorded yesterday.
The COVID-19 infection rate in Herefordshire has slightly risen to 72.1 cases per 100,000 population from 71.1 cases per 100,000 population, largely due to the significant increase in cases in the Leominster area. Both areas of South Wye that were seeing infection rates of above 400 cases per 100,000 population have now seen infection rates drop to below 200 cases per 100,000 population.
