Time is running out to apply for your child’s secondary school place
Parents of children who are 12 years old between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012 are urged to apply for their child’s secondary school place before the 31 October deadline.
Parents and carers of Year 6 pupils living in Herefordshire will have received a letter from Herefordshire Council’s Pupil Admissions Officer in September when their child started the new academic year. The letter contained important information on how and where to apply.
All applications can be made online at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/schooladmissions
If parents and carers are unable to apply online a paper application form can be requested from the secondary transfer admissions officer on 01432 260925 or email dskyrme@herefordshire.gov.uk or schooladmissions@herefordshire.gov.uk
Please note that late applications could result in your child not being offered a place at your preferred school.
The closing date for all secondary school applications is midnight on Monday 31 October 2022.
