Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have provided an update on an incident that occurred on the A438 (Hereford to Ledbury Road) on Friday evening.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue crews – one each from Hereford and Ledbury Fire Stations – were called at 17:00 on 24 November to an RTC on the A438 near Tarrington.
“The incident involved a small vehicle which had left the road and gone into a ditch.
“A male casualty in his 80s was medically trapped and was released by fire service personnel before being handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with police.
“The vehicle was made safe by fire service personnel and the road was closed during the incident, which was marked as pending closure at 18:19.”
