Emergency services are responding to a collision on a busy route in Herefordshire this morning. 

The A438 (Hereford to Ledbury Road) is currently blocked at the junction for Stoke Edith. We understand that Police are now allowing traffic through but that there are significant delays.

West Mercia Police are at the scene. West Midlands Ambulance Service are also in attendance.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 06:37 on 8 November to make vehicles safe after an RTC in Stoke Edith.

“The incident involved two cars both of which were on all four wheels and were made safe by fire service personnel.

“One male casualty was handed over to the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police.

“The road was closed in both directions.

“The incident was marked as pending closure at 07:30.”
