A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew were called to an out of control fire in Hereford on Thursday evening.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 18:01 to a fire in the open off the Holmer Road Trading Estate, Hereford.
“A garden waste fire was out of control and had spread to adjacent fences and hedgerow.
“The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel jet and one main jet.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.
“There was one male casualty with minor burns and an ambulance was requested.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 19:52.”
