A Hereford mum has contacted Your Herefordshire to raise her concerns after a group of people were seen handing out leaflets to students outside a school in Hereford.

The mother, who’s name we have decided to keep private, said that teenagers from Hereford Academy school were being approached by a group of adults in a car and being handed leaflets advising them not to get vaccinated. The mum was also concerned by some of the language being used by those handing out the leaflets.

The incident has been reported to the school and police.

It comes as groups of students from Hereford Sixth Form College and other higher education settings were approached by a similar group of people on Aylestone Hill.

There have been protests against the vaccination of children on Greyfriars Bridge in Hereford recently and a group of people are regularly seen in High Town handing out ‘newspapers’ claiming to oppose the media and government narrative on vaccinations.
