Business and Interest Groups tackle City Centre Eye-sore
Businesses and Interest groups came together in early January to help smarten up tired areas such as Victoria Street, Greyfriars Bridge and Eign Gate Underpass as part of a collaboration organised by the Hereford Business Improvement District.
The day saw several black bags taken away full of weeds and litter which were the result of efforts from Elgar Care, Close House, Hereford Community Clean-up Group and Hereford Business Improvement District (Hereford BID).
Mike Truelove, CEO for the Hereford BID and organiser of the event said:
“This was our latest clean-up event of tackling an area of the city in need of some urgent care and attention – it is heart-warming that groups like these are so willing to put something back into the city which benefits everyone. This is hugely appreciated by the business community and public alike”.
