Heavy rain, which could lead to flooding in some areas, is possible across parts of England and Wales over the next few days.
A complex area of low pressure will spread from the south west and whilst it’s unclear at present how far north this band of rain will spread, there are concerns that those along its track could see some flooding in places.
Dave Throup (Environment Agency Manager for Herefordshire & Worcestershire) posted the following information on Twitter this morning:
It comes as parts of London, the Midlands and the South East experienced torrential rain and flooding yesterday evening, with a number of houses in Barking damaged when a tornado hit.
