A flood alert is in place on the River Lugg, south of Leominster, following further heavy rain.
The Environment Agency issued the alert automatically at 2.45am this morning, with automatic alerts currently in place due to industrial action.
Levels are continuing to rise, with a level of 2.45 metres recorded at Lugwardine at 6am.
Flooding of surrounding farmland is expected over the coming days. Some riverside paths may also be affected but the majority of roads should remain clear.
Further rain is forecast over the coming days.
