Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to a horse box fire near Leominster on Monday night.

The incident occurred in the village of Hamnish. 

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (Leominster Fire Station) told Your Herefordshire: 

“Last night, both our pumps attended a horse box on fire, at Hamnish. 

“On arrival, it was established there were no horses onboard but the vehicle was well alight. 

“Crews tackled the blaze using 2 x BA and hose reels, whilst our 2nd pump shuttled water during the incident.”
