Its been a busy 24 hours for fire crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service, with the service reporting that crews have rescued 44 people from vehicles that had become stuck in floodwater in the two counties.
A large number of vehicles became stuck in floodwater in Peterchurch and the surrounding area, with fire crews saying that many people were ignoring road closed signs and therefore ended up putting themselves and those expected to rescue them in danger.
