Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Kington and Eardisley were called to a crop fire near Kington on Thursday evening.
Crews attended the incident and quickly got the fire under control but did issue a warning to people, with conditions extremely dry ahead of the upcoming heatwave over the weekend and early next week.
A spokesperson for Kington Fire Station (Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service) said:
“During drills we were called this evening to a crop fire near Kington with Eardisley Fire Station.
“A warm evening to be fighting flames! Please be extra careful out there, everything is tinder dry!”
