Fire crews from Bromyard and Malvern called to help rescue a cow that had got stuck in a deep muddy pool.
A spokesperson for Bromyard Fire Station said:
On Sunday afternoon a Large Animal Rescue crew from Bromyard and two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Malvern were called to rescue a cow.
The cow had got into a deep muddy pool and was unable to get out again.
A vet was called by the owner to look after the animals welfare and the cow was sedated.
The crews then used the farmers tele-handler and were able to lift him safely out, over the side wall before being placed back in the field where he could join the other animals.
