West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are currently responding to an incident in Hereford.

The incident has occurred on Grandstand Road, near the Grandstand Pub and emergency vehicles remain at the scene.

Fire crews are working on a vehicle, which appears to be a van on the side of the road.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire: 

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station was called at 09:14 on 26 January to an RTC involving a small vehicle in Grandstand Road, Hereford. 

“A van, which had been in collision with a wall, was on all four wheels and made safe by fire service personnel. One casualty was handed over to the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police. 

“The incident was marked as pending closure at 09:29.”
