Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist with an incident in Peterchurch on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the village of Peterchurch, with a person falling down a 30ft embankment. West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance also attended.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (Peterchurch Fire Station) said:
“On arrival back at station after the large fire this morning crews were mobilised along with a crew from Eardisley Fire Station and West Midlands Ambulance Service to rescue a person fallen down a 30ft embankment within the village.
“Crews assessed the casualty before transporting him by stretcher to the land ambulance where he was to be conveyed to hospital via air ambulance with the helicopter touching down on the grass at the rear of the station.”
